Fillings

Although silver (amalgam) fillings are sometimes used, we prefer and predominantly use white filling materials.  Porcelain inlays, onlays and tooth colored restorations create fillings that are not only beautiful (or unnoticeable) but also add strength to weakened teeth. These restorations are esthetically pleasing and very strong thanks to new bonding technologies.

Advantages of Tooth-Colored Restorations

There are many advantages to tooth colored restorations. Resin (white) restorations are bonded to the teeth creating a tight, superior fit to the natural tooth.  Due to the bonding process less tooth structure is removed. This conservative approach leaves more of your natural tooth structure in place. The tooth remains intact and stronger. Additionally, resin wears like natural teeth which protects the opposing dentition.

The result is a beautiful smile!
